School of Clinical Sciences
Professor Pamela Rowntree is the Director of Academic Programs in the School of Clinical Sciences, a member the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI), and part of the Medical Radiations Discipline at QUT.
She is a registered medical imaging practitioner and her interests are in in the application of the advanced imaging modalities such as PET/CT and MRI to develop learning experiences for use in educating medical imaging and radiation therapy undergraduate and postgraduate higher degree research students.
HIRF provides an excellent environment for students in the Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours) to participate in projects applied to problem solving tasks and data analysis which may then lead on to further higher degree studies such as a PhD.
Professor Rowntree is also interested in research into teaching and learning and the ways in which the clinical, academic and research contribute to the learner experience.
